Audio lag problem

Accessing my home system from a personal laptop at work (boss knows I do this and is OK with it). When I do something like open/close a program or start a music player, the video comes through instantly, but the audio lags by about 4-5 seconds. I tried to submit a support ticket, but it get stuck on the "enter your email" part and the spinny thing doesn't stop
