slow response on remote computer Mac 2019

My home iOS is Mojave running on a 2018 Mac. My office Mac is 2011 running El Capitan (and cannot upgrade due to other software compatibility). Everything worked fine though until 2 days ago. Now cannot work from home anymore since the response is very slow. Tried the post in the Nov 2018 answer but cannot find goto--> extras--> etc in Mojave.

Thank you for your posting.

When working on macOS Mojave, kindly check out your session toolbar from the top of remote control session, then select View -> Quality -> Optimise speed please.
