Service Queue and UAC
Hello TV Community,
I am a Domain Administrator and provide IT support for around 2.000 users under one Domain.
I've been here for a half year and grown tired of directing old people via phone to access our site and clicking the tiny TV QS link on the bottom of the page (Ofcourse, the link could be made more visible but I'd rather skip the entire guiding role if possible).
We've had TV Corporate (I believe it's called) licenses for years but no one here has ever really taken advantage.
Now I've come across the Service Queue which is great so far, but the research I've done is pretty much wasted effort if it gets cut off whenever there's a UAC prompt.
Is there a solution for Service Queue and Windows UAC ?

Dear Ormard,
Thank you for your post.
UAC can often lead to issues if the user on the remote computer is logged in with a non-admin account and a non-installed version of TeamViewer is running (e.g. the QuickSupport module).
You can avoid this by connecting via Windows authentication.
When a service case pops up in your Computers & contacts list, please click on the small drop-down arrow next to it and select "Remote control using Windows authentication":
This will allow you to connect with your admin credentials and you will no longer get cut off by UAC during the connection.
I hope this was helpful. If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know!
All the best,
Katharina

Hi,
My customers sometimes do not want to tell me their admin passwords.
I have used other remote software that can be installed as a service on the fly, and the UAC problem goes away, is something like that a possibility?
