Microphone won't unmute

When I start a meeting microphone is muted.

When I click to unmute, as I have always done, it will not.

I have found that if I go into settings and mute the speakers, the mic works!

But, of course, as soon as I unmute the speakers the microphone becomes muted again.

I am having this same issue on TiemViewer Meeting. If I mute my headphone, then my microphone will unmute and vice versa. There are 2 buttons to activate the microphone--each one will instantly re-mute if i tap them. This did not happen until I used the new team viewer meeting app.

May I ask a few more questions:

There are 2 buttons where you can activate the microphone: in the command bar and also in the participant list on your account picture/video. Can you please try with both ways and let us know if both lead to the same result (i.e. mic doesn't work)?

Secondly, can you please verify if the microphone icon changes to green when you click to unmute the mic (but no audio is available), or if it stays red?

Finally, can you send us the log files through the feedback link on the app (please indicate your name (TedLawrence) on the comments section) for us to check also?

Ver 15.1.4543 BL on Windows 10 (latest update).

Have set Mike and Sound to standard communications.

Have reinstalled Blizz.

Mike works fine in other apps, and in Blizz but only if speaker is muted.

Thanks for reaching us and for the detailed explanation!

We performed some tests but were not able to reproduce this issue, the microphone can be muted and unmuted as expected - can you let us know what platform OS version, and what application version number you are using, to further investigate this?
