How to connect successfully without updating remote teamviewer？

The remote TeamViewer is running an old verision.Teamviewer cannot connect. I tried to install the local teamviewer version from 9 to 15, but the error is the same every time. Since the remote end cannot go manually in person
Update (teamviewer on the other end is ok), so what else can I do to connect successfully
