Dear all,

We would like to announce that as of May 26th, 2020, TeamViewer will no longer be actively supporting iOS 10 and iOS 11 operating systems for upcoming TeamViewer app releases.

Stopping the active support of an operating system means

  • that no updates or fixes which are specific to these operating systems will be implemented and
  • that TeamViewer versions newer than TeamViewer in version 15.5 won´t be compatible with these operating systems and
  • that the TeamViewer Support team can not provide any kind of support for cases when using TeamViewer on these operating systems

What does this mean if your iOS device is running iOS 10 and iOS 11 as an operating system?

If you are using iOS 10 until now, you can still use your current working TeamViewer apps, but please keep in mind that an update of your app won´t be possible. This being said, using a newer TeamViewer version than your current working TeamViewer app is not possible with iOS 10 and we will not be able to provide you with any fixes or support.

If you are using iOS 11 until now, you can upgrade your iOS to a newer version (= iOS 12) and continue using the TeamViewer apps as usual.

To see a full list of our supported operating systems by TeamViewer, please see our Knowledge Base article here: Which operating systems are supported

We want to thank you for your understanding and wish you a continuously excellent user experience with TeamViewer on your iOS devices!

We hope to keep you amazed with new improvements and features on the most recent TeamViewer versions,

Esther
