Partially blank screen on remote computer

I am trying to connect to a remote computer that I have connected to before.

I can successfully login, but the remote computer screen is partially blank and I am unable to select anything on the remote screen - see attachment.

This happened for the first time yesterday. Subsequently I was able to login, but today the problem has returned. I am able to login to other computers in the same office with no problem.

My computer: MacBook Pro OS 10.12.6 Sierra. TV 15.2.2756 Jan 22, 2020. Business license.

Remote computer: Dell laptop workstation, Windows 7.

    I have experienced past 2 days partial connection with my partner. We both have registered accounts and used it for a long time. He can se me moving a mouse. I can see a small rectangle saying connecting to...Than is a white screen background of his, what should be his desktop. Nothing happens after.How can be this fixed?
