How do I know if my desktop is hacked?

Hello, there was once a connection from an outsider but i was away shortly because I thought that if a person was trying to connect, it will prompt me to accept but it did not. Instead, the person has access to my desktop. How do i know if my desktop is hacked by them?

There are 2 ways to make a connection.

Attended access: Accessing to a device is only possible with both its TeamViewer ID and random password is shared with a local side, or a remote side must click "accept" when a local side try to connect via connecting prompt for confirmation. 

Unattended access: If you setup a personal password or an  easy access, a local machine can connect to your PC anytime without asking your permission.
