Teamviewer Account Login Doesn't Work while Using Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN

Hello, I've decided to start using a VPN based on the information in this VPN guide. I selected Private Internet Access (PIA), which I'm running whenever my computer starts in order to protect my anonymity online.

Ever since using this VPN, I've noticed that teamviewer has trouble logging into my teamviewer account. This is a problem for me, because I need access to my computer while I'm away from home.

Is there a setting that I need to change in order to allow teamviewer to work alongside my VPN?

I was having the exact same problem. I solved by going to login.teamviewer.com on browser and logging in while connected to the VPN. Then I received an email and added my computer/browser to trusted devices. Now I can log in again in the Teamviewer Software while connected to the VPN.
