How to move a licence from one PC to another

    Thank you for your post 😊

    I confirm that you have a business license. You can use TeamViewer on up to three (3) devices to connect to remote devices (connect from one device at a time).  Please see the following steps in order to move your license to another PC.

    • Log in to the management console with the credentials of your TeamViewer account, which is linked to your Business license. (The correct TeamViewer account shall bear the title Business under display name)
    • Open your profile settings in the top right hand corner.
    • Click the Edit profile button
    • Under the License tab, you can see all PCs that have been activated.
    • To deactivate/remove a device from the Business license, just click the button Deactivate device
    • You have successfully deactivated the device after confirmation of this dialog.


    • To activate your license to a new device, please simply login into the account on the software.
    • After signing into your TeamViewer account that is associated with your license, please click Help ➜ About TeamViewer on TeamViewer application.


    • If you can see License: Business, the device has been licensed.
