Same here, i connected from work computer to my personal laptop at home everyday for a few months, but today tw told me that version on my laptop is older therefor i asked my girlfriend to update tw on laptop so i can acces it from work, she update it to version 15.15.5(32 bit) the same version i have on work computer, but i cannot connect because i get the following error: your partner is uaing an older version of teamviewer please update teamviewer to connect, that's insane because i have same verions on both devices
I have two computers which were both connecting fine with Teamviewer. This morning on connection attempt I got the notification that the remote computer was running an old version. I updated both machines to version 15.15.5 but I still get the "The remote Teamviewer is running an old version..." message. I have rebooted both machines.
Anyone any ideas how to fix this?
Cheers,
Adrian.
I have been using TeamViewer with a free license for almost 1 year, and today I have got a message from TeamViewer which was my TeamViewer is running an old version and I need to update it to the lasted version. I did update to the latest version which is version 15.5.5. However, I still cannot connect to my partner's computer.
Could anyone please tell me what should I do or what should I suppose to do with that problem?
thank you
I have been using the free version of teamviewer for some time now. It's for personal use to connect to a remote computer. Suddenly, and will I had already connected to my remote computer a couple of times a message appeared mentioning that the remote machine uses an old version and should be updated.
I updated the remote version, the local one and rebooted both systems. Nothing seems to work though. The message is the same stating the remote machine has old version and should be updated.
Has anyone any idea how to resolve this issue?
My current version is 15.15.5 and I am running Ubuntu on both machines (16.04 for a little longer and 18.04).
Hello,
i am trying to set up a raspberry Pi to install into a remote network of mine. Everything worked perfectly while I set it up at home, but as soon as I connect the PI in the remote network and try to connect, I get the following error in the logs:
2021/02/25 12:00:32.572 10784 2765745 0 CreateClassicSession::HandleRequestRouteResponse(): Response: NOROUTE_LicenseNeeded@RouterIp= Timeout=0 TranserRate=0 ActionId=0 PassiveUserId=0 UsedLicenseType=0 IsClientReportingStatistics=0 TimeoutMessage=0 LimitedStreamTypes=0 StreamBandwidth=0 StreamLimitString= LicenseFeatureSetActive=[Uninitialized] LicenseFeatureSetPassive=[Uninitialized] DomainName= BlockZoneRemainingTime=0 PassiveUserPublicKey=0x0 CommercialBlockerOffender=Unknown NoSessionMessages
2021/02/25 12:00:32.573 10784 2765745 0 SessionControl::TerminateSession: Termination before establishing the Remote Session
2021/02/25 12:00:32.573 10784 2765746 0!! LoginOutgoing: ConnectFinished - error: LicenseNeeded, Errorcode=35
The network may look like that of corporate environment because of very strict IP-Tables (which is why I wanted TV in the first place). Does TV detect that and think that I am not doing personal use? I mean, its a raspberry PI running Raspbian, not some huge server.
any help would be greatly appreciated :)
If I try to access my PCs, this message appears: "The remote Team Viewr is running an old version which is out of date. Therefore you cannot connect to this version anymore. Your connecxtion partner can update TeamViewer by clicking on "Help"
But on all the PCs the latest version in already installed
What can i do?
All of my devices are on a closed network and are running version 15.15.5 and I still can not access any of them from one another from a closed or outside connection. I was able to before this update so I know it isn't a network config issue. I have also tested pings on my closed network and all communications are good. How am I supposed to resolve this? Thank you for your time and efforts!
Hi, this morning I wasn't able to connect to my remote pc, I got this message.
"The remote Teamviewer is running an old version which is out of date" and then some more telling me how to update it. Great did that with both clients, so both are now 15.15.5 (32-bit) and yet when I try to connect I get the same error, even when I try to connect from the remote pc back to me at home.
I removed the client and re-installed on both devices, still no luck.
Is there a problem with version 15.15.5?
Regards, Steve
Hi again and thanks for your feedback so far.
I talked to our dev teams again:
We were able to identify the root cause in connection with an update to our backend systems that had the unwanted side effect that a lot of our users were not able to connect.
The issue has been resolved and we make sure that this will not happen again.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I just had contact with teamviewer help, they are aware of the issue.
It is not just the free version that has this problem but also the licensed versions.
they are working on the issue, and was informed that they hope it will be solved by the end of the day, but of course without guarantee.
I just thought to post this here for you all to be informed.
Kind greats
