Seeing the same here, only difference is that it uses the ipv6 address instead: 403 Forbidden [IP: 2600:9000:215d:f200:1c:3aaa:b100:93a1 443]

If you try to access https://download.teamviewer.com/ it redirects to https://dl.teamviewer.com/releases and it hits a 404.

Maybe some sort of webserver problem?

Why are Teamviewer updates failing on ALL (30+) Linux laptops?

How can I get the non-Teamviewer updates?

If the issue was fixed on April 16th, why am I getting the same problem now (June 6th)?

Teamviewer repo is at linux.teamviewer.com. I am getting an access denied from there anywhere I try and browse as XML. Repo problems?

    1) Because of an issue on the repo side...

    2) Just comment your TeamViewer repo in the meantime (or use the dedicated command `teamviewer repo disable`)

I was having problems with the update of my linux distro(lubuntu 20.04), the error message was weird: "check your internet connection" because i have ethernet connection besides wireless.

I went to debug the issue and finally found, from the "sudo apt update":

    Err:8 https://linux.teamviewer.com/deb stable InRelease

     403 Forbidden [IP: 2600:9000:20d1:5600:1c:3aaa:b100:93a1 443]

    and also:

I had to remove the teamviewer app, then all was fine with my update.

    Please check and fix this.

Thanks for all the people that now has problem with this issue.

    Johny.

Same problem with a different date!!!

TeamViewer... Please Update the Security Certificates for your Repository so our Updates in Linux are not broken because of your bad form or oversight!!! So far the only solution is to disable or delete the TeamViewer Repository and wait for TeamViewer (cough... working under pressure) to fix it on their end and enable the repository or reinstall the TeamViewer Linux .Deb (or other suitable installer) to add the Repository back at a later time once TeamViewer get it together. With what we pay to use your service... come on... this is just bad form!!!
