Teamviewer 14 core dumps on ubuntu 18.04
When I start Teamviewer on Ubuntu 18.04 64 bit I get :
mae@HP-Compaq-6715b:~$ teamviewer
Init...
CheckCPU: SSE2 support: yes
Checking setup...
Launching TeamViewer ...
Launching TeamViewer GUI ...
Aborted (core dumped)
mae@HP-Compaq-6715b:~$
I looked at my logs and saw this:
in the gui.log:
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb"
in "".
Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, xcb, dxcb, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
I reinstalled both the qt5 teamviewer plugins AND Teamviewer 14 with no change.

I disabled wayland here.
sudo vi /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
This worked when nothing else did - I found it in some other post after reinstalling teamviewer from latest TV14 .deb file.
