How to enable me to do installs and change settings in windows 10 remotely i get locked out

How to enable me to do installs and change settings in windows 10 remotely as when i go to settings etc windows 10 disables the remote access

i presume this is a windows 10 safety/security feature, it leaves full access for anyone on the remote computer but until they finish the install or change etc my remote control is frozen out, i can still see all but not actually do something

as soon as the install is finished/or accessing a system folder/ changing most control panel settings etc i get full control back

i have had a couple of friends mention it to me as well but i cannot find anything about it online is ther a solution thanks? it was the same on 14 and 15

thanks we don't normally use passwords but we can of course put a password on temporarally to work it that way
