Black screen - found another solution!

I kept seeing a black screen when remoting into my home PC from my work PC. Rebooting my home PC didn't cure it, but when remoting in from my Android phone, it worked fine. Searching the Knowledge Base revealed a variety of potential causes and solutions, but none helped. On a whim, I unchecked Hide wallpaper under the View tab and rechecked it. Presto! My home PC's desktop was back.

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere in the KB, so I thought I'd add it. Hope it helps others here!
