connection problems

I confirm team viewer is running on my office desk top and when I am at a remote location i get an imediate message when trying to connect that team viewer is not running on partner computer. If I bring my lap top into the office, it connect with team viewer no problem? What is causing the computer to not see the desk top when not in the same room?

Thank you for your posting.

Whether TeamViewer works or not really does not depend on where you are. It is more likely that when you are in your office, you can ensure that your computer does not go to sleep but while you are not in, you cannot. You may check your office computer status when you cannot connet to it again.  Also, you can provide more information so that we can help you further.
