Cant connect two laptops: "This partner does not accept incoming connections"
I bought my son a new laptop for college and we are trying to set up TeamViewer in case he runs into trouble while away and I need to connect to help him out. We installed TeamViewer on both laptops and we both created seperate accounts. I captured the TeamViewer ID from his app and from my app I tried to connect to his laptop.
However, when I enter his ID and select Remote Control button, I get back the response: "This partner does not accept incoming connections".
I checked both his laptop and mine and the only setting I could find was for remote assistance, which is checked. Not sure if thats the same thing or not. Any idea why I can not connect to his laptop?

I think this can be closed, unless someone has an answer for someone else in this situation.
But I downloaded the full app from the TeamViewer site instead of using the App in the Windows App store, and the full app works just fine connecting to each other. So - I am all set as I have what I need.

I'm having the same issue. However, one of the laptops is a work laptop, and I'm not the admin. This means I can't download and run the desktop program. So I'm stuck with the same issue as shown above.
