Remote cursor not visable

When I remote in to my Mac, I can see all the screens from the Mac, but when I try to look at Parallels windows, the cursor disappears. If I drag the cursor over an icon, it will not highlight the icon. Basically there is no working cursor. When I am at the computer personally, everything works fine. Help!!!
