TeamViewer crashes every time when pasting into Virtual Machine
We have Teamviewer version 12 setup on a VM. We are using TV version 12 to connect to that machine. When copying from our local desktop and pasting directly into a TV session on the VM, Teamviewer crashes every time on the VM.There are no issues copy/pasting from our local desktop to the desktop of the VM.
There are no issues copy/pasting from our local desktop to the desktop of the VM. We can also copy and paste from the VMs local desktop into the TeamViewer session on the VM no problem.
This happened with version 11 of TeamViewer as well.

Hi Victro
We published a new version in which this should be fixed. Can you please install the new version on both sides and try it again?

What I do is:
Select a file in my Vmware and open the context menu and choose, Copy.
I then change window to my open Teamviewer and I press the right mouse
button on the desktop and select Paste.
When I press Paste my Teamviewer crash and I have to restart Teamviewer and
connect again. I can now see that Windows is still trying to copy the files and
it takes a few minutes before Teamviewer show a message that I have closed
the session.
I have tested it several times and it crash every time. If I use the
clipboard from my own Windows 8.1 to Teamviewer it works as it should.
I can see the crash is showing version 12.1.16680 but in Teamviewer I can
read 12.0.82216 Aug 17 2017. I downloaded it yesterday.
Btw, you need to change the year in the about window. It is still showing 2016
