Teamviewer display driver breaks other apps

I was having problems with multiple apps and programs on different computers and found that removing the Teamviewer Display Driver fixes the issues.  The display driver prevents graphics driver dependent apps from starting (Hulu app, Netflix app, half the games on Steam).  Is there any known work around?  The display driver only works to blank the screen half the time anyway, and problems with it are the primary reason I don't switch my office over to Teamviewer.
