Using Teamview on Wifi while also plugged into an Ethernet device

Guys-

I need to use WiFi to reach my remote Laptop, which will be plugged into a piece of equipment via my Ethernet port, which will have a static IP.

How do I manage to use Teamviewer to log into that piece of equipment?
