partner computer does not recognize my mouse or keyboard

Both computers have most updated program (15). One is mac, one is windows 10. I can log in (From windows to mac) and see the partner screen, but it does not recognize any keystrokes or mouse movement. All settings and permissions are allowed. Ideas?
