problem chatting with remote computer on my account
hello,
I have installed Teamviewer on my kids' computers and added them to my account, with password-protected remote management enabled.
Up to some point last year I was able to send messages to these computers and my kids were able to directly view the message and directly reply to it.
Now, Teamviewer just shows a message notification, and when they try to read it, Teamviewer asks for a login. Of course they can't answer either. Is this normal or am I missing something?
Is there a way to restore functionality?
Thank you

Hello @manarak,
Yes, you are correct. Now, it is only possible to send message to a device. The device receives a message notification, but cannot reply. The user needs an account for it.
You will need to create an account for your kids in order to chat with them via TeamViewer.
Here, you will find a little turorial how to create an account, just in case. ;-)
How to create a TeamViewer account (Video tutorial)I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to ask your questions here.

Hello @manarak,
Yes, absolutely. The device(s) of your kids will still be linked to your account.
The only difference, is that you will be chatting with the contact you have created for your kids, and not with the device.
