Cannot see the desktop, Ubuntu

I frequently use TeamViewer. I encountered a few times in the situation like the attached screen shot. I connect from windows (TV 13) to Ubuntu 16.04 (TV13). It is nealy black screen but I can type text. But no command is executed.

I know this can be solved if I reboot the remote machine. But I cannot reboot every time. Please let me how to solve this issue.
