TeamViewer on a read-only root file system

Folks,

I'm trying to run TeamViewer on a headless Raspberry Pi system running in R/O mode. It won't allow me to login while the system is in R/O mode (login screen shows up), but works fine if I am in R/W mode. Is there any configuration that I can change so that TV works? I have /tmp that is RW, that might help.
