Teamviewer on Ubuntu not Installing

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. The Teamviewer installer is just sitting there on the sidebar with a progress bar that's not moving. It did NOT prompt for admin password when I launched it (as said in the instructions in this forum). I hit install, it moves to the taskbar and just sits there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I know basically nothing about Ubuntu and Linux.
