How do I enable the development channel on Ubuntu 19.04 using the teamviewer repo command?

in Linux only
Per /etc/apt/sources.list.d/teamviewer.list, the command sudo teamviewer repo development should make the latest development packages available.
However, when I enter it in the terminal, I get the Error: Unknown option 'development'.
How do I enable the latest development packages, then?
