Did your problem ever get resolved? I have Ubuntu on HP x360 with Wi-Fi  and get the same issue.

 

Case:

Boot PC - it has xxxxxxxxx48 ID
Reboot PC - now it has xxxxxxxxx36 ID
Shutdown PC and boot again - it has xxxxxxxxx48 ID
Reboot PC again - now it has xxxxxxxxx36 ID
and so on...

    Dear ValeryT,

    Thank you for your post.

    To correct this then please first, stop the daemon with the command

    sudo teamviewer daemon stop

    Open your favorite file editor and add the following line in the global.conf file that can be located here: /opt/teamviewer/config/global.conf

    Then add the following:

    [int32] MIDForceUpdate = 3

    After this, please restart the TeamViewer daemon 

    sudo teamviewer daemon start
