My license changed from Business to Free automatically!
I had purchased a Business license for Teamviewer 11. I am still using Teamviewer 11. But one day suddenly the Teamviewer application on my system said that my license has been changed from Business to Free. I have checked the License settings in my Teamviewer account online. It is showing three IDs under "Detected installations". None of these three IDs is for any system which I regularly use. Not sure how these IDs got detected and why the ID of the system which I use day in and day out got "undetected" all of a sudden (and the license got changed from Business to Free on this system). It seems I have 6 "remaining moves" but I don't want to waste these on recovering from moves which somehow seem to be happening automatically.

Hi ab050505,
Thank you for your post!
As the TeamViewer ID is based on several hardware and software components, changes you make to your computer (e.g. replacing parts of your hardware or reinstalling the operating system) may cause the ID to change. This would explain why your current ID does not show up among your licenced devices in the Management Console. In that case, you would simply need to reactivate the licence on the new ID that was generated
The Business licence always comes with 10 licence moves that will allow you to transfer the licence to a new TeamViewer ID if you obtained a new ID on your device or if you switch computers. You do not have to worry about using up your licence moves -- this is exactly what they are for. Should you ever run out of licence moves, you are welcome to give us a call or send us a ticket via https://www.teamviewer.com/en/support/contact/
If you used up the licence moves within a reasonable timespan, we will be able to reset them for you, no questions asked.
I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know.
All the best,
Katharina
