TV12 Will Not Successfully Update to TV13

I am currently using TV 12.0.90922. To connect to a remote computer that is using v13, I have to update this computer. I tell TV to update. It appears to download the installation file. Then TV tells me it will close and install the new version. When it restarts, it is still v12.0.90922 and I get the update notification again. How can I get this updated?
