Teamviewer with usb keyboard

Hi,

I'm using TV 11 but i believe this happens with all versions. 

I use to control my computer from my Android S7 device. Today i plugged a small keyboard that uses IR to communicate with the S7. When i press any key on the keyboard, the virtual keyboard appears on screen. this is quite odd. Can it be disabled?
