escape key not working

I have a latest version of TV on windows 7 (both client and server). When I connect using TV the escape key does not work. All others keys and combinations work correctly as far as I can tell in exception of esc. I do not have any weird configuration regarding this key in windows. in Actions menu I have "send key combinations" enabled. Please help, it is pretty difficult to do anything without esc key :-)
