Remote session always logs out when session ends
We have a problem when running teamviewer to a machine that has an RDP session active. When the RDP session ends it terminates the connection to the remote end and won't reconnect as it thinks teamviewer on the host PC is not running. When you RDP into the host Teamviewer shows as active in the systray. Restart the service and the machine shows as active again. Host is a VMware machine running server 2008R2. Teamviewer remote machine is running Windows 7 pro. Teamviewer in both instances is on the same version. Upshot of all of this is that we can't use teamviewer on the machine unless we're already RDP'd into it.

Take a look at Multi User Mode -- How-to-access-Teamviewer-on-a-windows-server-console posted by @HWI
On Windows Server you can have multiple sessions and each will have a different TeamViewer ID. One of these IDs will be associated with the physical console and will always be available.
I don't work for TeamViewer. I'm just a user.7

Thanks, that seems at first glance to perhaps be the problem. Will check further and let you know.
