custom module ownership

In my company, the user we had as the company admin left his position. he created the custom modules that we install TV on machines with.   i was able to make myself the new company admin.  however, of the 3 machines i installed the host client since that change, i can not see in our console.  does it have something to do with the previous user being the owner of the custom modules that we created?  we use the downloaded MSI's for installation. if so, is there an option for me to take ownership of those modules and redownload the Msi's  or do i have to create all new modules
