A file transfer is running notification (transfer has finished successfully)
Everytime I use a file transfer (copy/paste from local PC to remote PC) and disconnect the remote session I get this notification saying "A file transfer is running" with buttons "Abort file transfer" and "Cancel".
I am 100%sure that the file(s) I copied were copied successfullly so I click the "Abort file transfer" button. The session is then closed and my screen then starts showing a popup stating "Clipboard transfer aborted". I can close this, but it disappears by itself after about 30 seconds.
This notification is pretty annoying and I see from messages on the community that people report similar issues without even copying files. Sometimes with connections to multiple computers (which is not what I am using most of the time).
Is there a way to solve this?
My version of TeamViewer is 12.0.83369 and we have a corporate license with 3 channels. The "Check for updates" funciontality reports that there are no newer versions available for TeamViewer.

The issue is not solved, but I was able to analyze why it occurs. Others might experience this too in similar situations.
This is my configuration:
- Local PC running Windows 10 insider preview and latest version of TeamViewer (preview 12.0.86431)
- Remote PC running Windows 10 insider preview and latest version of TeamViewer (preview 12.0.86431)
What is working:
- Copy file from local PC to folder on remote PC
- Disconnect from remote PC -> No message that a file transfer is still running
What is not working
- Copy file from local PC to folder in Remote Desktop session on remote PC
- Disconnect from remote PC -> Message that file transfer is happening, it allows me to abort or cancel disconnect. File transfer was already finished successfully
So, if you want to reproduce it, follow these steps:
- Make sure you have one remote machine that is having a Remote Desktop connection to another machine
- Initiate a file transfer from your local machine to a folder on the Remote Desktop machine
- Disconnect the TeamViewer connection
- You get a warning that the file transfer is running
To me it seems plausible that there is some verification between the two PC’s running TeamViewer when you copy a file. When you copy a file to a folder on the remote PC, there is some kind of acknowledgement from the remote PC (maybe in cooperation with the OS) that the copy has finished. However, when you copy the file to a folder on a Remote Desktop session, this acknowledgement somehow can’t be done, resulting in the warning that the file transfer has not finished.

I did not study when it occurs and when not but I get this message very often, too. I was concerned about a security issue, so I'm glad to read this post.
My configuration is for both PCs:
TeamViewer: 12.0.83369
Windows 10 Version 1703

I get this too, all the time. Running normal Windows 10 (totally up-to-date).1
