Barrage of sign-in notifications. Multiple emails. Why?

I registered 2 (only 2!) new devices that I had not used before with TeamViewer. As usual, they sent emails to "add" those computers. I added them and they worked.  THEN I got 11 sign-in email notifications in another city (not far away but not my city).
