Does you account stay logged in after auto-updating?

I have Teamviewer 12 installed on my desktop at home and my laptop that I travel with.  I can barely use it anymore due to the new restrictions in place, so it's time to upgrade.  However: I won't be home for months.

If I log in and manage to stay in long enough to enable automatic updatest - specifically, the "all updates (includes major new versions)" option - will I be able to then initiate an update that will install itself and log back in?  Or does someone else have to be there?  If they need to be there, will they need my login credentials, or will it at least sign back in automatically once the update is complete?
