Embarassing file transfer speeds

Options

Hello, can anyone please explain to me why the team viewer speeds are so slow (around 120KB/sec)

I currently am trying to upload a 700MB file and it's supposed to take me over an hour. We are living in 2018 how is it possible I'm uploading at 120kb/sec

I have a 1gbit/1gbit connection and the remote site is a 50/50 connection

At the very least I should be getting 50 upload

What do I have to do to fix this issue

Thanks

P.S. As a side note it was faster for me to kill the transfer at 70% RDP into the machine and restart the transfer. The operation finished in 4 minutes whereas teamviewer was quoting 1.5 hours.

Same problem here....as long I know and use teamviewer the throughput of file transfers was and is always horrible slow. It would be much faster to install a vpn client temporary, copy that needed files and uninstall it after....what a **bleep**. sorry.

It would be possible also to execute **Third Party Product** and do the file-copy-job with that....they handle it much faster as teamviewer.

Really? Teamviewer redacts the name of **Third Party Products**?
