How to create a host that can use outbound connections?
Good morning,
I have a question regarding the "host" that you can customize for TeamViewer. We currently use a custom "host" profile so that our company logo etc. is shown.
A number of TeamViewer Policies are linked to that host, to disallow our users to change any settings etc.
However, we have a few users that need to be able to connect to clients outside our network (customers). So far I have only managed to get this to work by installing the full teamviewer client and manually changing the settings on the client.
Is there any way to add this to a "host" or another way to make it so that we can "manage" the client (through policy changes for example), without having to manually take over the computer and changing the client settings each time?

Just a quick update for any users that may have a similar question..
After diving into the manuals I found out that the "host" is only able to use incoming connections, you cannot configure it for outbound connections. What I did to solve this was download the "regular" teamviewer client, and assign it to our account via the options.
After asigning it to our account we can manage the client and apply policies to it.
So that fixed it for us at least, but it was quite a search
