License conditions exceeded

One of our users has a Business license and is running TeamViewer 9 (can't upgrade as the company won't pay for a upgraded license)

He has one device on his license and is trying to add a second device to his license - so he can work from his home PC - and gets the error message when trying to add asecond device.

"License conditions exceed. Please remove one of your exisiting devices first." Yet it says he can have up to 3 devices on his license.

Any ideas as to how to get the second device to activate.

    Hi Cunias,

It sounds like your V9 user can see the "licence" tab in the management console.

This tab was only introduced in the business license for V11 and later and unfortunately isn't correct.

The standard V9 Business license can only be installed on 1 device. V11 and later licenses have 3.

V9 is only designed to be activated with a license key in the software itself. They may have purchased an "add on workstation" but this has a different license key.

    I hope this helps.
