can not connect to a computer marked 'ready to connect'

i currently have 3 devices with teamviewer on it. a desktop, a laptop, and an android phone. a couple weeks ago, my desktop decided to drop off the list of 'online' devices for my computers. today, i decided to try and fix it. i've updated it, stopped it, restarted it, restarted my computer, updated and restarted my computer.... and nothing. still doesn't show. however, i can make outgoing connections on my 'my computers' list with no problem, and make inbound using the id and password.... it just won't show up. there's no way in **bleep** that i'm going to remember a 10 character id and a 6 character alpha numeric password when i need to use the thing... so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this.
