Do I need a Licence??
I'm trying to connect to someone's Android phone, I have a "free licence" never really used Teamviewer up until today, but when I try to connect from my PC it says I need a licence, when I connect from Android phone to theirs it wont let me actually take control of their phone to configure an app for them. It's personal use as I will probably never need it again and it's helping out a family member. So why do I need a licence, and why won't the android app allow me to actually do anything? It just shows a little blue hand when I try to do anything.

Hi @AleksD2000,
Thank you for your message and welcome to our community.
To remote control an Android device, you need to install TeamViewer Host or QuickSupport and necessary AddOn on the device. For more information, please check out - Remotely access an Android device.
You can find all information needed regarding the error message you received here:
Why do I see TeamViewer trial - 'Your trial period has expired'?
I hope the information would be helpful.
Best regards,
Fiona

That's not what's happening. My PC doesn't connect, but when you view the connection log it says something about no licence detected or something. But I didn't think I'd need a licence being as it's for personal use only.
