TV15 Not Compatible with Vista and XP Cannot Upgrade

Team Viewer 15 has proven to be incompatible with Vista and XP.  I cannot upgrade.  Yet I need to use Team Viewer on these older machines.  How do I get around this problem.

  • I too noticed this issue today (9/25/2020) my connection to an XP machine was terminated due to its not being upgraded to the "latest version".  It is operating on the latest version of TV that will run on XP, SP3 for some time. However, that is certainly NOT the "latest version" of TV.  The XP version refuses to update, stating that it is up to date (which it is, as far as XP supported versions go.).

Some where in searching the forum today (sorry I can't seem to locate it now) I found that some connections are imited to the commercial licensed users.  Again, I appolpogize for not being able to refrence the post, but i had to to with either Xp or versions that were not up to date.  I am wondering if this is a recent change that has now colided with the Xp version being stuck and wont upgrade.

Can non-commercial licensed TV installations connect to Windows Xp systems that are not "up tp date"?  Perhaps the answer is now, "no"... I hope I am wrong.

    Hello @davidjmp,

Using Windows XP with the free version is not possible anymore.

    A license is now required.

    Please find out why here:
