I have been deploying many TV12 host modules for some time now, usually successfully, using a set of scripts I created. But sometimes the assignment tool just fails, with a message
TeamViewer_Assignment (r341)
............................................................
=> Assignment failed with:
Reading datafile 'c:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer\AssignmentData.json' failed with: File not found
Can someone enlighten me under what conditions this failure can occur?
I can't figure out a pattern behind this... and the only way I've found that sometimes solves it is simply to try again -- but the only way I know to do THAT is to uninstall TV and start over.
Is there any other way to retry the assignment tool after it has failed like this?
I suspect since it sometimes works on a second try, perhaps it has to do with network delays... I do use the wait=60 parameter to give it some patience; perhaps even that is not enough?
