Hello All.
Ran into this on my machine at home, and thought i would ask the community if they have ever run into a similiar issue.
So i have a Dell Optiplex 980 running Windows 7. Its a Intel Core I5 - 8GB Ram, with a SSD drive. Running TV 12 as well.
Here is the scenario. I have Quickbooks 2016 running on my home machine, and while i am doing that, everything is fine. No noise, and the system is running without issue. Then when i go out of town, and have to log into my system, i can do that just fine with Teamviewer, but the fan of the local tower just starts to spin up crazy fast and its super super loud. I do not notice any lag or system slow down to really indicate stress on the system.
The second i disconnect from teamviewer, the fan slows down, and is quite. If i were to go into Quickbooks right after i disconnect from teamviewer, there is no noise and no fan increase. If i were to reconnect back on teamviewer then it jacks right back up again, and i have the same issue.
Any ideas ? I did check all BIOS updates are done and all updates on Windows. It seems to be isolated to just teamviewer so i dont' know where to look or if there is a setting to minimize cpu usage?
