Remote control from India

I am currently using my Windows 10 laptop to work from home in USA. My employer made me install Citrix in order to access work applications and instructed me not to take my laptop to India. I have an emergency and I have to travel to India. Incase I'm stuck in India for more days than anticipated due to COVID, can I remotely connect from another computer to my laptop in USA via TeamViewer. Would my employer notice that I am using Teamviewer from another country in order to remotely control my work laptop.

Also Can I use MS Teams in my remote computer as if i an using it from my work laptop?
