No Sound From Remote Computer!

I've checked all the posts with similar concerns and tried those things that were suggested.

I'm using windows 10 on the host computer and windows 7 on the remote computer

When I went to audio conferencing and changed the play back to any other setting, I get a momentary sound of 1-2 seconds on the base computer, then nothing. What gives?
