Cannot hear remote person over internet call

This is for Windows 10 PC to Windows 10 PC. The problem has been going on for me for about five years, and used to work fine.

I've searched through community posts and cannot see any solution to the problem, although plenty of people have reported the problem.

The person on the remote computer can hear me, but I cannot hear the other person.

Is there any fix to this issue?

Thanks. We tried a number of things today, prior to my OP. We did look at the Audio Conferencing tab. I may not be remembering correctly, but I'm pretty sure that I asked my brother on the remote computer to talk while I had this window open. I am almost positive that the "Signal" bar registered his speech, but I still could not hear him.

But I can't say that I looked at fiddling with every parameter on this window. So, I'll try to get together with him again, and see if there is anything I missed.

FOLLOWUP QUESTION: So, by your response, are you saying that you have recently successfully talked, using the Internet Call feature of TV, going from W10 PC to W10 PC?
