how to silently deploy teamviewer 15.13. exe?

Hi there,

we used to deploy and/or update teamviewer to our clients with the teamviewer_setup.exe ever since TV4 or 5 simply with the /S switch. we have never used the msi packages...

but with teamviewer 15.13. the setup stucks somewhere.

I couldn't find any knowledgebase or support articles about this.

What's the (propably new) silent way to go to update existing or install a new instance of TV to a client machine?

Thanks for getting back.

We do not have any official solution for silently deploying TeamViewer .exe and we do not support this in any way. Please use the .msi deployment method to silently rollout TeamViewer.

For updating the .exe silently, you have the possibility to set the option Check for new version --> Weekly and Install new versions automatically --> All Updates

I came across this article earlier already but as I stated in my first post, I was looking for a way to go with the exe file, explicitly NOT with the msi package! The article describes ONLY msi based rollouts. Furthermore, the msi package is not compatible with an existing exe installation.

So i have to repeat my question: is there a way to silently install the 15.13. exe based install binary or update an existing exe based installation which could be accomplished with /S in all previous versions (incl. 15.2.)?
