Easy access for vulnerable people

Options

I use TeamViewer to keep my elderly father connected. He's 85, mostly deaf and suffers with Alzheimer's.

I help him access his emails, send emails and to use zoom to keep him connected and to deal with pop-up's that cause him concern.

He had an issue with his PC that despite it being less that a year old, needed a complete reinstallation of windows and any other software that he used, including TeamViewer.

Someone in his village has completed this for him, but I can no longer connect without a password (which is sometimes beyond him and no use at all if he has forgotten his log on details for the PC.

Can I re-set up easy access remotely or am I going to have to do the 180 mile round trip? Clearly, the chance to visit my Dad is usually very welcome, but due to COVID, he isn't keen at the moment!
